On the Tamar Gymnastics Club scrapbook.
This is the area for anyone associated with the
gym club to submit their stuff. Drawings, poems, stories - anything.
It doesn't necessarily have to be gymnastics related, but that would
be good!
Gymnast or alien? You decide.
Seeing.
I see a little child with bounce and energy to be
released.
To cross the floor with jumps and leaps.
To turn over and land on little feet.
To see the pleasure on its face.
To achieve a move in that space.
To watch the movement of the legs, moving like lines through space.
Legs bent hands to close what the end will be, nobody knows.
On their knees or on their bum, whatever happens they’re having fun.
A headstand falls into a crumpled heap; they come up smiling never
to be beat.
