Inaugural Peninsular Invitational
October 2007
In October 2007 the first south west Peninsular
Invitational competition was held at the City of Truro Gymnastics
Club in Truro, Cornwall.
This new competition is strictly by invitation only
and its purpose, apart from the experience of competing against other
gymnastics clubs, is to allow gymnasts and coaches from clubs in the
region to have fun, socialise and get to know each other .
Penzance Gym Club and Tamar Gymnastics Club competed
in this first event, being the first one it was best to keep it
small and see how things went. Unfortunately, although hosting the
event, the City of Truro Gymnastics Club were unable to field
a squad this year.
Before the competition starts the gymnasts get to
know each other.

After the competition we all sat down and ate fish
and chips together.
