Novice Four-Piece Apparatus Competition

February 2008

The venue for the Novice Four-Piece Apparatus Competition was the Penzance Leisure Centre. There was a very high turnout with gymnasts from Penzance Gymnastics Club, Tamar Gymnastics Club, Gazelles from Redruth and Swallows of Helston.

The Four-Piece Apparatus is a girls only competition and judges skills on the Asymmetric Bars, the Beam, the Vault and the Floor.

We would like to thank all those that helped to make the day such a success: coaches, organisers, judges, those working behind the scenes and of course the gymnasts and the parents, some of whom had to make long journeys after a very early start. Leaving Plymouth at 7am it was a lovely drive to Penzance on a beautiful sunny day.

Congratulations to our medal winners and to those that pushed themselves to achieve personal bests.
